Mr. Dean Barnes
Recruiting Manager - BST/Staff Instructor

Mr. Barnes has been working with Sensor Protection Group since June of 2006. Dean became interested in working with Sensor as a jujutsu student while training under Shihan Michael Seamark (Sensor Managing Partner) which is also where he became acquainted with Sensei Barry Wilding, (Sensor Managing Partner). Dean’s security related certifications and instructor training includes time in the Canadian Military (Infantry), Certified BST 1 as well as BST 2 Use of Force Instructor with the Justice Institute of BC, martial arts training, multiple teaching certifications in aquatic activities and physical training (PADI/BCRPA) as well as 8 certifications in firefighting (Fire Academy – Southern Arkansas University Tech). Dean’s operational/management experience comes from more than 15 years of running professional dive teams in various countries as well as running and managing several of his own businesses. Dean enjoys his current position as Sensor Protection’s Recruiting Manager and BST/Staff Instructor.
